Lumen Christi Simple Gradual Now Complete!
We’re very excited to announce that the Lumen Christi Simple Gradual is now complete! We expect to go to print in a matter of weeks, and look forward to a Spring release of this long awaited resource. The natural successor to Simple English Propers (CMAA, 2011), this new edition will offer immense value to liturgical music throughout the English-speaking world
The Lumen Christi Simple Gradual (ed. Adam Bartlett) will soon be available in two editions: A choir edition and an assembly edition. The choir edition also interfaces seamlessly with the Lumen Christi Missal, and will benefit choirs and cantors with a resource that provides fully pointed Psalm verses for the antiphons of the “Simple Gradual” section of the Missal.
The assembly edition can be thought of as an abridged edition of the Missal, only without the Lectionary Readings and Devotional Prayers. Parishes who are simply in need of a resource with the essentials for sung liturgy will surely find this sleek and economical volume to be very attractive. Pre-orders will begin soon. Stay tuned for an announcement of sale prices and additional details. Learn More »
We have also been hard at work on accompaniment editions, at the request of many parishes, for use with the Lumen Christi Missal. As we work toward full print editions, we have been posting accompaniment editions in PDF format for free download in the Illuminare Score Library. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter, where we are also posting cantor and accompaniment scores weekly. Visit Score Library »
